ASF Volunteer Opportunities

The Arizona Sailing Foundation needs volunteers to keep their community sailing programs alive and well. Listed below are the current needs:

  1. Adult Sailing Coordinator:  This administrative role doesn’t even require sailing skills. Help the ASF team “share the load” by coordinating instructors, volunteers, and Wild Apricot communications with students for our Adult Beginning Sailing class. READ MORE about the Adult class.
  2. High School Sailing Coordinator / Lead Instructor: Do you love sailing and kids? Have your US Sailing Level 1 Instructor or other Instructor certification? Think teaching sailing to 12 to 18-year-olds sounds like fun? If so, then this role will be a good fit for you!

High School sailing has been held in recent years on Tuesday afternoons, but you’ll get to choose what evening works best for you – Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Assistant coaches are ready to lend you a hand once we identify a Lead Instructor.
  3. Fundraising Coordinator: ASF relies on donations and class fees to fund operations. The person in this role would facilitate fundraising activities and campaigns.

If interested in lending a hand or expertise, send an email to asf@arizonayachtclub.org
