Boo! It’s Halloween! Let’s have some fun! Join AYC for a nighttime fun run at Tempe Town Lake Saturday, Oct-29. Plan to be on the water by 6:30PM, and be sure to comply with City of Tempe nighttime navigation & lighting requirements. Also, bring lots of candy / goody-bags to share!
Dress-up – Best Costume wins a prize! And decorate your boat for Halloween – there’s also a prize for the best boat! Then, once on the water:
- Collect five (5) playing cards at the locations designated on the Lake Chart – the best Poker Hand wins a prize.
- Sail to other participating boats and exchange candy and goody-bags … being careful not to litter our waterways, of course.
If you can’t sail; but, want to join the fun, volunteer to help as crew. We need a few people to help on the Pontoon Boat and ashore with vessel check-in / check-out, and handing-out poker cards. Sign-up here: Halloween Helpers. Note – volunteers should also dress-up!
