The Arizona Yacht Club is proud to have National Sailing Hall of Fame and International America’s Cup Hall of Fame sailor Dawn Riley speaking at our January 10, 2023 membership meeting. What a way to kick off a new year! Topics will include her extensive sailing experience and her leadership roles, including her work to improve the sport of sailing in the United States thru the Oakcliff Sailing Center (New York). Join us for a night to remember with a true giant in the world of sailing!

Arrive as early as 6 pm for dinner and beverages, then mix and mingle until 7 pm, when we’ll start the meeting. Bring a friend. Guests are always welcome!
Dawn Riley is a member of the National Sailing Hall of Fame and the international America’s Cup Hall of Fame. She worked on four America’s Cups and two Round the World Races and has a handful of World Championships to her name. She is still the only woman and youngest person to serve as CEO of an America’s Cup Team or become a “dual-famer.”
Currently, Dawn is the Executive Director at Oakcliff Sailing, a nonprofit coaching and training center in Oyster Bay, New York. Oakcliff is a tuition-based residential program for dedicated athletes trying to reach the highest levels in the sport, placing its athletes in grand prix programs, including The Ocean Race, Sail GP and the NYYC’s American Magic Team. Oakcliff is Building American Leaders Through Sailing.
