This month’s guest speaker is captain, sailor, and author John Jourdane. John has participated in almost every major offshore race you can think of, including 64 crossings between the West Coast and Hawaii or Tahiti and 12 Atlantic crossings. He has also scored in over 100 races in Mexico and completed three circumnavigations. In 1993, John was voted the World’s Best Navigator by Yachting Magazine. With over 430,000 documented offshore miles, he has sailed enough for several lifetimes.
Each Transpac is unique, and John will highlight this year’s event with photos taken by professional photographer Sharon Greene.Â
