It’s that time of year again! AYC’s Annual Holiday Gift Exchange & Social is just around the corner, and we’d love for you to be there. This is also when we nominate and vote for the next Blunder Bucket recipient. Let’s celebrate the season with fun, folly, and favor—you won’t want to miss it!
Arrive around 6:30 pm to drop off your gift and socialize. The buffet dinner will be served around 7:00 pm. RSVP’s are required, and no payments can be accepted at the door!

$35 per adult – Includes buffet, taxes, tip & nonalcoholic beverages.
Kids 12 and under eat free from the kid’s menu.

Gift Exchange
The gift pillaging will begin immediately after dinner. Here’s how it works:
- You bring a wrapped gift valued at $20-30. (optional)
- Drop your gift with one of our elves and get a ticket.
- Ticket numbers are called randomly, two at a time, with one person on deck for expediency!
- When called, take a wrapped gift from the pile or steal one from someone who’s already opened one.
- Gifts can be stolen twice before they’re safe from further theft.
Blunder Bucket: December Nominations
Arizona Yacht Club’s prestigious Blunder Bucket award recognizes every manner of sailing error, foible, misconduct, rules violation, faulty seamanship, etc., for good-natured fun and humility.
We vote on our member’s biggest blunders twice a year. At the holiday party in December and then again at the Commodore’s Celebration in May. Since May, who have you witnessed making a blunder? All blunders are welcome for the nomination!
If you have plans that will not allow you to attend, you can use this Nomination Form to describe the blunder, and we’ll include it in the nominations. Remember, you must have witnessed the blunder in person.
