Sometimes in sailing, you have to change tacks – the same thing goes for yacht club organizing! Our original April meeting speaker had to cancel, so we’re changing topics slightly, but the evening still promises to be engaging!
This month we will hear from “Rolling in the Deep” about the Newport to San Diego race. Skipper Richard Alverson and his crew will talk about their experience in last year’s race and how they are preparing for the upcoming race being held April 24-26, 2026.
We’ll also get a recap from Joel and Rachel on the recent Cruising Raft Up at Lake Pleasant.
And, of course, we’ll have our normal announcements about upcoming events and plenty of socializing. This month’s meeting will be on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 pm. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for socializing and dinner. Guests are welcome!
