Lake Pleasant is located just outside of Phoenix, Arizona, about a 45 minute drive from Sky Harbor International Airport. Our visitors and many of the locals decide to camp overnight at the lake, either in one of the RV spots (with water and electricity), or in one of the dry camp sites (with no hookups), or on their boat in the marina. [Psst – if you don’t have an RV, check out rentals on sites like Outdoorsy – some will deliver them to the lake for you!] There are also lots of hotels a short drive away. Showers are available in the marina and for RV campers; dry campers can purchase a shower card at the RV office for a small fee.
Whichever you choose, come join us for a full weekend of fun!

RV Camping
We have a block of campsites being held for our regatta. Sites must be reserved by January 25 by calling the Pleasant Harbor RV office and identifying the group reservation as “AYC Birthday Regatta group reservation”. There is a 3 night minimum. We only have 6 sites available, first come, first served, so act fast!

Dry Camping
A popular option for staying at the lake is dry camping (no hookups) in either an RV, a tent, your car, or even your boat! Call the RV office or reserve your space online and let them know you want in the Ringtail camping area. Note there is a 3 night minimum. If you’re interested in spending the night in Spring Canyon, pay for Ringtail camping, and then join us down in Spring Canyon. If you’re not familiar with Spring Canyon, check out our FAQ page.
