Dinghy Days

Racing Clinic November 6th

Dinghy Days is our annual dinghy regatta, where our smaller boats get to play on the big lake! Fleets include Sunfish, Lasers, Buccaneer 18, CFJs, Multihulls, and Portsmouth.

New this year is an optional Racing Clinic on Friday, November 6th. Classroom teaching in the morning, and on the water training in the afternoon! We’ll have Sunfish and Laser-specific training, as well as a coach for all other boats. Cost is TBD – look for more information in the registration.

All on-land activities will be based in Spring Canyon, including a BBQ dinner Friday night and a catered dinner from Don Tacos Saturday night. One Saturday dinner ticket is included in the bid fee; more can be purchased during registration.

Spring Canyon is open for camping this year! Pay for camping as if you were dry camping up top (stop by the RV Office and tell them Cactus Wren or Ringtail section), then come set up in Spring Canyon. There is still a two night minimum. Shower cards are available for an extra fee. If you’d like to stay in a nearby hotel, check out this interactive map for options.

Do you launch with a dolly? Spring Canyon is good for that too! Larger boats with trailers can launch at the nearby North Ramp. See the map below for details.
