On Sunday (2/23), the wind didn’t disappoint, starting strong from the west for each fleet. What’s more? The first gun actually went off on time, unlike the previous two weeks when wind was light to non-existent.
The junior fleet raced five solid races, while the C14s competed in multiple races before they bowed out before the last start of the day, due to light winds. The Sunfish fleet sailed through the diminishing winds, and were officially the last ones on the water.
Smiles were seen on every sailor, due to the great winds, and great day out on the open water! A huge shout out and sincere thank you to Sabrina Bryant, who was on the mark boat and took several amazing pictures throughout the day.
