The all-woman Ruth Beals Cup Regatta will be held at Lake Pleasant on Saturday, October 22, with the first horn at 1:00 pm. It’s for women at the helm in run-what-you-brung boats rated by PHRF handicap. Alexia Lorch holds the Cup for both 2020 and 2021.
The race is named for the founder of AYC, Ruth Beals, and offers a chance for the club’s women to compete against other women. Men can lend a boat and serve as crew but not get too close to the tiller. There will be a single long-distance race around Horse Island and back to a finish line.

After Race Social – We’ll finish off the day with some food and socializing at Wild Horse West. There will be a few tables reserved out on the patio for everyone to gather around. Remember this is a CASH ONLY restaurant, so bring the greenbacks.
