Join us for Part II of L.A.ST. – A Boat for Every Sailor

By Deb Huntsman, L.A.S.T. Coordinator (Learn About Sailing Things)

At this session, we will be delving a bit deeper into small boats. We’ll talk about cruising — no big dollar yacht involved, just a trailerable sailboat well suited for travel — a super fun pocket cruiser.

Tuesday, February 20th from 6:15–7:45pm
Tempe Multigenerational Center (Sisso Room)
1555 N. Bridalwreath St., Tempe AZ 85288

A pocket cruiser can be easily towed just about anywhere and it’s easy to camp in!

Other boats to be discussed will be:

  • The Sunfish: one of the most widely sailed small boats — simple and fun for all ages, and visible on any race day at TTL.
  • The Santana 20: an inexpensive but fine keelboat for pleasure sailing or for racing in the congenial AYC Santana fleet.

We will decide where to go for a little social after we’re done.
