October Meeting: Cruising the Atlantic and Pacific

For our October meeting, we will host Joseph DiMatteo, PE from the Hawaii Yacht Club, to discuss the highlights of his last five years of cruising the Pacific Ocean, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic Ocean.  He will share his experience sailing a passage from Ensenada to Tahiti on a Nordhavn 47, racing the Port Huron to Mackinac Island Race on a Beneteau 36, and crossing the Atlantic on a Leopard 50 catamaran from France to the Caribbean, including how he joined the unfortunate fraternity of sailors who have lost a rudder to an Orca attack off of Gibraltar!

Join us on Tuesday, October 14, at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm, so arrive early for socializing and dinner. Guests are welcome!
