This year’s Birthday Regatta will feature something new – a speaker! Bruce Cooper, an experienced sailor and sail designer, will be speaking at the Saturday evening party on February 14th. Bruce Cooper joined Ullman Sails in 1984 and brings over 42 years of experience to the company. A lifelong sailor with victories in offshore and inshore racing, including TransPac and National Championships, Bruce has competed locally and internationally, from California and Mexico to Europe. Known for his expertise in one-design dinghies, small keelboats, and larger yachts, Bruce manages design, quality control, and loft operations for Ullman Sails Newport Beach and Long Beach, which he purchased from Dave Ullman in 2006.
