AYC Junior Gianni Hejduk-Petucci won the 5th place prize in the U12 class for the 2024 O’pen Skiff North American Championship “Un-Regatta” in Augusta, Georgia, held April 19-21 at the Augusta Sailing Club. Gianni placed 38th overall in a field of 79 sailors from North America and Europe. He turned 11 a couple of days later!
Gianni’s mother, Renatta, said, “The Augusta Sailing Club was wonderful. They showed incredible hospitality to the kids and their families, and there was an AYC burgee hanging in their clubhouse!”
