Next Step for Start Sailing Right Grads

A great chance to practice or get a refresher! For graduates of Start Sailing Right (or sailors with similar experience) who would like to get some “stick time” under the supervision of a US Sailing-certified, ASF instructor. On four Saturdays you’ll be at the tiller of a Laser or similar boat, practicing tacks and jibes in a variety of wind conditions that TTL serves up. Price: $195. Saturday afternoons in spring and fall, 1-5 pm. You’ll need to provide your own PFD (type III “life jacket”). If you aren’t a recent Start Sailing Right grad, you’ll need to demonstrate that you can swim 50 yards in sailing clothes.
Getting to Tempe Town Lake
